Hopes of survivors after Pakistan passenger plane crashes in Karachi

Rescue operations are underway after a passenger airplane belonging to the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) crashed into a residential area near the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. Over 100 passengers were onboard the ill-fated flight. The number of casualties is unclear at this point however there are now hopes there might be survivors after one passenger Zafar Masud — CEO of Punjab Bank — emerged a survivor.
