Terrorist attack on army-run school in Peshawar leaves 141 people including school children and principal dead and several wounded.
Some 7 terrorists armed with guns and suicide vests stormed the Army Public School and held hundreds of pupils hostage. Hundreds fell prey to Taliban’s wrath as army engaged in eight-hour long operation against the terrorists.
School’s principle Ms Tahira Qazi was also killed in the attack.
Reports show that women teachers were burnt alive while students were forced to watch.
Leaders from across the world including US president Barack Obama, Turkey president, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Afghan leaders have strongly condemned the attack.
A young eyewitness student said he was the only one in his class to survive the attack by playing dead when terrorists came to check on him. Another says he hid himself under the desk and put his folded tie in his mouth to avoid screaming.
